Blocked Emails

Due to the phenomenal increase in spam and the number of email viruses, corporate IT managers and email service providers have tightened their filters in an attempt to block as much spam as possible. Unfortunately, this has also resulted in a large number of legitimate emails also being blocked. Consequently, you may be unable to receive NewsFlash or information about programs and services available to you.

How to Make Sure You Are Getting the Emails You Want

To make sure that CCFLinfo.org emails are not filtered into your "junk" or "bulk" folder, please add CCFL@CCFLinfo.org your list of trusted senders. Here's how:

  1. Check your filtered mail. Some spam is stored and available for you to review. A periodic check of these items will allow you to unblock the sender and allow future e-mail delivery. Unfortunately, some ISPs automatically delete your spam, so this is not an option.

  2. For Outlook users: add CCFL@CCFLinfo.org to your "Safe Senders List".

  3. AOL: Place the domain CCFLinfo.org in your address book.

  4. Hotmail: Place the domain CCFLinfo.org in your safe list. The safe list can be accessed via the "Options" link next to the main menu tabs.

  5. Yahoo! Mail: If one of our emails is filtered to your 'bulk' folder, open the message and click on the "this is not Spam" link next to the "From" field.

  6. If subsequent messages continue to be filtered, call or e-mail your ISP's tech support and specifically ask how you can be sure to receive all e-mail from CCFLinfo.org. Follow their instructions for whitelisting CCFLinfo.org.

CCFL fully supports the anti-spam measures of all mail servers and ISPs.
